Super close to the beach in a nice quiet area. the private rooms have warm showers and they provide you with a bar of soap. the staff is very helpful in helping you book tours and they have a convenient tab system for payments.
The rooms are not as advertised, with shared dormitory-style accommodations instead of private rooms as described.

I absolutely loved staying at the surf camp in Santa Teresa. During the rainy season, the place wasn't crowded at all, and I had the chance to fully enjoy the private villas with their beautiful patios. The common kitchen was well-equipped, and the swimming pool was a great place to relax. The highlight for me was the stunning park surrounding the camp, where I saw howler monkeys, iguanas, squirrels. And thanks to the helpful staff, I had an amazing surfing class with Richard on Playa Hermosa. it was an exceptional experience.

We had a fantastic time at the surf camp! As beginner surfers, we took a class with Richard on playa Hermosa, recommended by host Douglas. The facilities were perfect, from our private villas with patios to the beautiful park with howler monkeys and hummingbirds. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the common areas like the kitchen and swimming pool were great. The location was peaceful, yet within walking distance to the town and beach. We loved the sense of community and the overall vibe of the place.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
